Luis Ventura is an award winning filmmaker from Switzerland

currently working on his fourth feature film Paradise Lost.

Luis grew up in Europe and southeast Asia before moving to the UK where he studied Filmmaking.

After completing his BA in London in 2010 Luis returned to Switzerland for the chance to direct his debut feature film A Confident Man in 2011. The Film was released theatrically on October 18th, 2012 and followed up by the second feature Tetro Rouge in 2015 for which he also wrote the screenplay. His latest writer/director effort The Espadrillo Fortune found international distribution at the 2017 Marche du Film in Cannes, France and released on various streaming services around the globe.
